It was summer holidays. I was at my aunt's farm in British Columbia. I was 13 or 14 years old.
It was just after lunch. I went fishing down the road.
I rode my bike that day. I caught 10 fish.
Saw a bear in the road
After fishing, I rode back to the farm. I had a bag full of fish.
When I got to the driveway, there was a bear. It was sitting in the middle of the road.
Rode past the bear
I thought, "How do I get around the bear? I'll just have to pedal past him as fast as I can."
So I went around the bear.
I stopped and looked behind me. The bear was still sitting on the road. He was looking at me.
I went home.
